Facebook Messenger for Windows

Image
Facebook Messenger After three months of testing,   Facebook Messenger   is coming to a Windows desktop near you. The social network on Monday announced that Messenger for Windows, a standalone app that lets you IM friends via Windows 7, will be coming out of beta in a few weeks. “Millions of people log into Facebook every day to keep up with friends. They also browse other websites and run computer programs, so it’s easy to miss important stuff,” reads a post on Facebook’s blog. “Maybe a cousin just posted about getting a new job, or a best friend wants to chat about dinner plans for tonight. You should be able to stay in touch anytime, no matter what you’re doing.” Of course, you could do the same thing if you left Facebook open on your browser all day, but this is a way to keep in touch even if you close out of Facebook. The desktop sequel to Messenger has been a long time coming. Facebook   introduced   the Android and iOS-based mobile Messenger app last Augus...

Disable Facebook Timeline

Image
Facebook's new Timeline feature   is rolling out to all users, and while we think it's pretty awesome—not  to mention ripe for customization there are a lot of people who aren't  big fans. If you don't really like the Timeline view, here's how to get  rid of it. This method won't take you back to the old layout, but it will get rid  of some of Timeline's clutter, like the  cover photo, friends box, and  two-column view. The layout will still be different and timeline-y, but it will be much cleaner. It won't change anything about how other  people see your profile—just how you view Facebook on your machine. All  you need is an extension called Social Fixer. Here's what you need to  do. Head to Socialfixer.com and install the extension for your browser. It's available for Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, and any browser that supports Greasemonkey. Sadly, Internet Explorer is not supported.  Once you've ins...

Hey! Im back with the second part of the post. At the end of the last post, we successfully re-routed all the traffic from the victim’s computer to the router through our computer.Next, we have to capture their facebook cookies through wireshark. So How do you go about doing that? It’s very simple actually. Open up wireshark Goto capture – > Interfaces in the top menu and select your interface. It’s usually the one which has an IP address and  a certain number of packets flowing through it. Next goto capture and click on start.. It should look something like this. This window has all the packets sent from the victim’s/victims’ computer to the router and all the packets sent from the router to the victim. Next in the filter type  “http.cookie contains datr”.  You ask why? Because, when a user logs in to facebook, he is given some cookies which is unique to him. If we replace our cookies with the victim’s cookies, we can login to his account as...
