Wikileaks Under Attack

Wikileaks has been under DDoS attack for the last three days The Pirate Bay is down. Wikileaks is down. Visa was down. Are all these Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks a coincidence? Right now it’s not clear, but something is definitely happening. After covering The Pirate Bay Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack and Anonymous’ denial of responsibility for it, I’ve been checking the torrent site’s Facebook Page every so often. The Pirate Bay said it thought it might know who was behind the attack, so I was curious if they would post it today. They haven’t yet, but they did just post this: Wikileaks.org is also under attack. Pirate Bay servers in Air

Servers in Air with Drones The Pirate Bay is always looking at ways of improving itself, but the latest idea is "out there." The site is thinking about creating tiny, flying servers that would act as proxies for the site and hover several kilometers in the air. "One of the technical things we always optimize is where to put our front machines. They are the ones that re-direct your traffic to a secret location. We have now decided to try to build something extraordinary," The Pirate Bay  wrote . "With the development of GPS controlled drones, far-reaching cheap radio equipment and tiny new computers like the Raspberry Pi, we're going to experiment with sending out some small drones that will float some kilometers up in the air," it said.
